Northern Alberta Optometric Staff

Full Time Optician Needed! (240190)

Aspen Eye Care - Sherwood Park

We are a full service, family oriented optometry clinic with an emphasis on medical eye care.  Our patients have become close friends and it is a wonderful environment to pursue a passion in eye care.  We pride ourselves on having outstanding customer service, promoting stylish eyewear and educating patients on the quality of vision expected from our excellent lens offerings.  Come join our exceptional team and help us grow as we continue to serve more patients looking for better quality :)

The right candidate will need to be proficient in helping choose eyewear for our patients.  They will need to become familiar with our software, the ordering process and the dispensing flow.  Of course, troubleshooting will be necessary as an optician to ensure the correct fit of progressives etc.  Use of a lensometer is crucial in this process.  We are looking for someone friendly, warm and professional.  This person would need to be a great team player and a self-starter.  Work ethic is important and although we have a great social group, it is important that we attend to our tasks to completion prior to having these mini-breaks.

Lastly, the right candidate will be well compensated as we choose quality over quantity when selecting our team members.  As such, we are not a large team and can offer better pay to quality individuals who perform to the top of their abilities.  If this opportunity speaks to you, please get in touch for an interview by sending resumes to [email protected]
